Ayia Napa Steps Up Digital Promotion

Ayia Napa Municipality entered into a digital marketing agreement towards best promoting the region online.

The agreement was signed with a consortium made up of RedWolf Digital Group, a Nicosia-based marketing strategy and consulting company, and W2Strategy, an Athens, Greece-based communications agency, on April 19.

Yiannis Karousos, mayor, Ayia Napa and Constantinos Daltas, general manager, RedWolf Digital Group, inked the agreement in the presence of municipality department heads and Kostis Kapopoulos, CEO, W2Strategy and Dimitris Maziotis, vice president, W2Strategy.

Karousos said the agreement ushered in a new age in promoting the municipality as an eastern Mediterranean tourism destination, adding the deal would have a positive impact on the municipality’s brand name.

Daltas elaborated, “Using our expertise and specialised state of the art technology, we will contribute to the tourism upgrade of Ayia Napa to meet the goals and visions set by its mayor and citizens.”

Maziotis added, “A cohesive, organised and compatible means of showcasing the area’s beauty spots and the experiences offered to visitors from around the world will be created.” Maziotis also noted this would be in done is such a way as to attract first-time and encourage previous visitors to return.
