Conveniently located at the start of the Saint Lazarus area, this unusual museum houses the personal collection of an avid collector of salt and pepper shakers, with a large range of different designs, including more unusual and rare items.
The museum opens as an extension of the flagship museum in Israel, where over 37,000 unique shakers are exhibited - each with their own story.
It is the largest collection of salt and pepper shakers in the world, and the entrance fee is donated to carefully selected philanthropic social causes each year.
The museum joins a number of other small, quaint museums in the town centre, and is a great starting point for a self-guided tour of the area, including its neighbouring Saint Lazarus Church and old workshops.
