For the period of January – March of this year, revenue from tourism is estimated at EUR14,6 million compared to EUR115,3 million in the corresponding period of 2020, recording a decrease of 87,3 percent as well as a decrease of 92,3 percent compared to January-March 2019 (EUR188,6 million).

On the basis of the results of the Passenger Survey carried out by the Cyprus Statistical Service, revenue from tourism in March of this year reached EUR8 million compared to EUR25,6 million in the corresponding month of 2020, recording a decrease of 68,8 percent, as well as a decrease of 91,7 percent compared to March 2019 (EUR96,6 million).
