The international blue flag programme is run by the foundation for Environmental Education, a non – governmental environmental organisation. The annual evaluation of beaches and marinas is very important because it shows how well environmental protection measures are being implemented.

In Limassol, the Blue Flag will be waving at 17 beaches and at the Limassol Marina.
