The Cyprus shipping community, which continued and strengthened its socio-economic and philanthropic contribution to Cyprus society throughout the pandemic, responded warmly once again to the important call of the shipping chamber, in view of the increased needs of the Blood Bank, establishing volunteering as a way of life.

 The CSC, has been organising for 32 years since its establishment, various social and philanthropic functions, the proceeds of which are donated to charity / welfare organisations for suffering children. In addition, as a result of numerous other blood donations organised by the Shipping Chamber in the past, more than 3300 blood units have been collected, a commendable social service that has been honoured by the Blood Coordinating Committee of the Limassol District.
