In an event that took place on November 02, a representative of the community presented the companies with a plaque as a show of appreciation for their extensive contribution towards the improvement of the residents’ standard of living and the area’s progress.

 Since 2018, when the decision was made to go ahead with the integrated resort in the area, the companies have developed a close collaboration with all social structures in the community, and have provided assistance each time there was a need.

 Among other efforts, Melco Cyprus and CNS group have donated modern equipment to the area’s schools, affording students with improved learning experiences, and have contributed towards the improvement of the community’s infrastructure.

 Furthermore, in cooperation with the community’s Philoptohos Adelphotita charity, meals are being provided daily to vulnerable groups. During the past two winters, Melco Cyprus also collaborated with Zaκaki’s Kindergarten, Elementary School and High School, donating presents to ensure all students in need received gifts through its No Child Without a Present this Year Christmas charity campaign, which will also continue for the forthcoming festive season.
