The Cyprus Deputy Ministry of Tourism announced that for the first time in Cyprus, five mountain communities (Agro, Kyperounta, Platres, Kalopanagioti and Kakopetria), will be decorated and illuminated festively, as Christmas Villages.

A delegation of the Deputy Ministry of Tourism, headed by Savvas Perdios deputy minister of tourism, Cyprus, attended the World Travel Market (WTM) in London, which took place November 04 – 06.

Klelia Vassiliou, acting government spokesman, Cyprus recently welcomed parliament’s decision to open the way for the formation of a Deputy Ministry of Tourism.

Cyprus Hotels Association, Association of Cyprus Tourist Enterprises and Association of Cyprus Travel Agents welcomed a parliamentary vote on the formation of a Deputy Ministry of Tourism in Cyprus.
