On September 19 the opening ceremony of the first Ronald McDonald House,® in Cyprus was held in the presence of the Annita Dimitriou, President of the House of Representative, Cyprus.

RMHC, Cyprus has expressed its gratitude to a very important supporter, the Bank of Cyprus (BOC), who offers vital resources to support the work of the first Ronald McDonald House Charities® in Cyprus.

The Pancyprian Confederation of Parents' Associations of Public Secondary Schools and the Ronald McDonald House Charites, Cyprus, have announced the launch of a partnership aimed at strengthening the two organisation’s efforts to support children in need of medical care in Cyprus, and/or abroad.

The Ronald McDonald House Charities Cyprus (RMHC Cyprus), would like to thank Nikitas Kyriakou and everyone at ANT1.com.cy for having them on their noon show on September 08.

The Ronald McDonald House Charities Cyprus (RMHC Cyprus) were overwhelmed by the generosity of the parents and the Bright Stars Nursery, Paphos community in Kato Paphos and Coral Bay,  who have collectively raised and donated a grand total of EUR1000 from the cake sale they had organised.

On March 03, RMHC Cyprus and the Cyprus Youth Board co-signed a memorandum of cooperation aiming at boosting both side’s efforts towards giving back to the community.

The laying of the foundation stone at the first Ronald McDonald House on the island took place on October 15, and was performed by Konstantinos Ioannou, minister of health, Cyprus.
