Ronald McDonald House Charities, Cyprus, (RMHC Cyprus) gives thanks to the Bank of Cyprus for its contribution, and emphasises that without the help of the sponsors, nothing is possible.
The Ronald McDonald House Charities is a non-profit organisation that operates in more than 65 countries worldwide, with a view to creating and supporting programmes that directly improve the health and wellbeing of children. McDonald's restaurants have been a lifelong supporter and founding partner.
In line with this, in 2014 Ronald McDonald House Charities of Cyprus was founded in Cyprus with its headquarters in Nicosia and its main sponsor is McDonald's Cyprus restaurants. His vision is to make his effort to improve the lives of families with children with illness, by offering them support where and when needed.
On the first day of its establishment until today, the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Cyprus is working hard to keep the family together in difficult times and in cooperation with other branches of RMHC worldwide, helps families to be abroad for free in order to be able to be close to their child, for as long as his / her hospitalisation lasts.
RMHC Cyprus’ second project will be the opening the Ronald McDonald House® opposite Archbishop Makarios III Hospital, which is expected to be completed in the early months of this year. The house will be able to accommodate families of children from all over Cyprus who are hospitalised at Archbishop Makarios III Hospital as well as other medical clinics in the capital.
