Cyprus arrivals of tourists reached 418.730 in April of this year compared to 333.563 in April 2024, recording an increase of 25,5 percent. For the period of January – April, arrivals of tourists totalled 865.326 compared to 748.814 in the corresponding period of 2024, recording an increase of 15,6 percent.
Cyprus arrivals of tourists reached 420.076 in May of this year compared to 315.018 in May 2022, recording an increase of 33,3 percent. For the period of January – May of the current year, arrivals of tourists totalled 1.156.705 compared to 849.058 in the corresponding period of 2022, recording an increase of 36,2 percent.
The Cyprus arrivals of tourists reached 315,018 in May of this year compared to 100,852 arrivals that were recorded in May 2021.
On the basis of the Statistical Service’s Passengers Survey, June had the highest volume of tourist arrivals ever recorded in Cyprus during the specific month, also contributing the highest ever number recorded in the first half of the year.
Cyprus Tourism Organisation (CTO) revealed that the island’s winter tourism season ended on a high note, with the period’s highest ever number of tourist arrivals reported between November 2017 and March this year.
This February boasted the highest volume of tourist arrivals ever recorded for Cyprus during the specific month, according to the island’s Statistical Service.
