Heraclidou’s duties include organising cultural, business and sport events and conferences, working with professionals from the tourism and cultural sectors, as well as lobbying for the promotion of the city as a versatile and unique destination.

She has a doctorate in history from the University of London and her previous experience includes posts with the Union of Cyprus Municipalities and European University Cyprus.
