The Municipality of Ayia Napa once again commemorated and honoured holiday-makers who regularly visit the town. This time, Bechara and Claudine Abou Rahal and their daughter Μia, from Lebanon, received not only an honourary plaque but also the ambassador of tourism emblem.

Expected to cost EUR220 million in total, Makronissos Marina in Ayia Napa will feature 30,000m2 of green space, sports grounds, swimming pools, water features, walkways, heliport, yacht club and a crew lounge.

Commemorative plaques have been awarded to two UK couples, granting them with the honourary title of ambassadors of tourism for their high number of visits to Ayia Napa over the years.
