Melco Cyprus, operator of Cyprus Casinos (C2) and the upcoming integrated resort (IR) City of Dreams Mediterranean, organised an underwater clean-up of Ayia Napa Harbour on June 19 in efforts to reduce marine litter and raise awareness about the impact of pollution on the Mediterranean Sea’s ecosystem.

 A key event and the largest annual meeting for the tourism industry in Cyprus, the 43rd Cyprus Hotel Summit & Exhibition of CHA was held on June 29 in Nicosia in the presence of Minister of Finance, Constantinos Petrides; Minister of Transport, Communication and Works, Yiannis Karousos and the Deputy Minister of Tourism, Savvas Perdios, as well as other high-level executives, leaders of the hospitality industry and local and international stakeholders.

 The theme of the conference was ‘Act Local, Think Global: A Roadmap for Recovery’ – primarily focusing on the tourism industry’s resumption and new prospects following the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, while emphasising the latest local and international developments and trends. Participants were offered a glimpse into City of Dreams Mediterranean’s luxurious facilities at Melco Cyprus’ booth at the Exhibition.
