Larnaca’s vision for a world-class, integrated port and marina has been a long time in the making, so it is with great joy that we can announce that a contract for the development and operation of the project will be soon be officially signed with works commencing in January 2021 – the perfect start to the New Year!

The mild winter temperatures are perfect for enjoying the self-guided cultural walk around Larnaca city, but if you are unable to participate on foot, you can still enjoy discovering all the sights at home via the new ‘Larnaka Cultural Walk Virtual 360°’ project.

If you have heard all about Larnaka region’s vibrant marine life but have not had a chance to discover it for yourself during a dive, you can now immerse yourself into this fascinating underwater world through a new video.

The innovative, new historical attraction ‘Larnaca Storytelling Statues’ was recently presented – a project that allows locals and visitors to learn the history of symbolic figures connected to the city in an interactive way through the statues ‘telling’ their own stories.

The Larnaca-Dhekelia road is one of the most important infrastructure projects that greatly affect the tourism industry of the Larnaca Region and as it is known, its construction has been pending for over 30 years.

New actions have recently been completed in the framework of the Larnaca Tourism Board’s ‘Enriching and Greening the Larnaca Beaches’ Programme.  

An Aegean flight from China had touched down in Larnaca on April 04.

Kition Ocean Holdings, an Israeli organisation and Cyprus have recently reached an agreement, submitting a proposal for more than EUR1 billion for the development of the existing marina and port at Larnaca.
