A host of new hotels are on the horizon for Larnaca region - including resort hotels, boutique establishments and even lodgings in historic, listed buildings, expanding the choice of accommodation available to visitors.

The project of street renovation and facilitation for the disabled in the centre of Larnaca is in the last stage before its completion. 

A wonderful evening was held September 17 at the headquarters of Seven Property Group, celebrating the organisation’s grand opening of its brand new, modern offices, as well as celebrating its 15 years of successful presence in the property industry in Cyprus along with staff, customers, partners and friends.

Larnaca has announced that the preparations for the second Larnaca Biennale have begun. Artists and works from Cyprus and abroad began arriving in Larnaca to set up the exhibition, which will take place from October 13 to November 26, of this year.

A tour of the new Multispace of Creativity and Culture (former Larnaka Club-Mattei House) for travel agents and tourist guides was organised on Sept 01 by Larnaka Tourism Board (LTB), Larnaka Municipality and the Association of Cyprus Travel Agents (ACTA), with the aim of encouraging tourist visits.

Larnaca’s former Rise Boutique Hotel, has now become Rise Graffiti Hotel since its renovation this July.

If one does not take the place of the other, even experimentally, one cannot perceive the situation in which one finds oneself. So, in the context of an experiential workshop, a team had to close our eyes to clearly ‘see’ the problems faced by a blind tourist in our country and to close their ears to ‘hear’ the difficulties of accessibility of the deaf.

Larnaca region is proud to announce the new name of its snorkelling reef located in the Voroklini Marine Protected Area following a competition held within the framework of the first ‘European Maritime Day of Cyprus’. 

The Larnaca Tourism Board (LTB) hosted and participated in a two-day meeting of the partners of the Erasmus+ programme ‘Tourism for People with Sensory Disabilities’ on July 08 and 09, at its premises in Larnaca town centre.
