 The theme of the conference was ‘Act Local, Think Global: A Roadmap for Recovery’ – primarily focusing on the tourism industry’s resumption and new prospects following the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, while emphasising the latest local and international developments and trends. Participants were offered a glimpse into City of Dreams Mediterranean’s luxurious facilities at Melco Cyprus’ booth at the Exhibition.

Melco executives participated in the Safer Gambling Conference during Safer Gambling Week (SGW) organised by the National Betting Authority between 5October 05-11 – demonstrating the company’s continued efforts to raise awareness for Responsible Gaming (RG) and to providing customers of Cyprus Casinos (C2) and City of Dreams Mediterranean a safe gaming environment.

The World Tourism Day is celebrated annually on the September 27, acting as a reminder of the industry’s key role in a country’s economic growth and its contribution to the society.
