Gulf Air, the national carrier of the Kingdom of Bahrain, has increased the number of flights it operates to Athens and Larnaca to boost its operations to Europe.

 Cyprus Airways had recentlly announced its traffic results for the month of September of this year. During this period, the airline transported a total of 48,560 passengers, representing a significant 30 percent increase in passenger numbers when compared to the same month in the previous year (September 2022: 37,427).

Cyprus Airways has announced outstanding performance for August of this year, a month in which the airline transported a total of 79,804 passengers. This remarkable achievement marks a 71 percent increase in passenger numbers compared to the same month in the previous year (August 2022: 46,800).

Cyprus Airways recently announced its July 2023 results during which it carried 77,656 passengers, 70 percent more passengers than carried during the same month in 2022, (July 2022: 45,578).

Wizz Air announced a significant milestone as it celebrated carrying six million passengers to/from Larnaca International Airport.

Cyprus Airways ha on August 09 operated the first commercial flight with its new flagship aircraft in its fleet, the Airbus A220. The flight, (CY310), was operated to the Greek capital, Athens, the most popular destination on the Island’s flag carrier’s network.

Cyprus Airways announced this year’s June results during which it carried 59,110 passengers, doubling last year’s figures (June 2022: 29,979).

Cyprus Airways, the flag carrier airline of Cyprus, has recently announced the upgrade of its fleet from the Airbus A320 to the advanced A220 aircraft. This significant development was unveiled during a joint conference with Airbus at the prestigious Paris Air Show 2023 that took place on June 20, at 16:00 in the Airbus Chalet Press Conference Room.

AEGEAN and Cyprus Airways on June 15 announced their codeshare agreement connecting the networks of the two flag carriers to offer enhanced connectivity for passengers travelling to and from Cyprus.

Cyprus Airways recently announced its May passenger results during which it carried 66,998 passengers (48,929 scheduled passengers and another 18,069 passengers on ACMI and Charter Flights) - more than four times last year (May 2022: 14,735).
