Aiming to make the city more attractive, Larnaka Tourism Board, together with Cyprus Tourism Organisation and Concept Consulting Group, has launched a project to improve the appearance of public areas, with Agios Lazaros Square selected as the pilot site.

Expected to be implemented by the end of October, the project will focus on the replacement of old labels with new ones featuring a uniform design, the restoration of several old buildings and the addition of green spaces.

During a meeting held in Larnaca Municipality, Victor Mantovanis, member, board of directors, Larnaka Tourism Board, noted that like all European cities respecting their rich cultural history, Larnaca should also be upgraded to preserve its character and identity.
