The Department of Antiquities of the Deputy Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Cyprus announced the completion of the works of the archaeological mission of the New York University (NYU) at Agios Georgios, Pegeia for the year 2025.

Based on the results of the Passengers Survey carried out by the Statistical Service, Cyprus revenue from tourism reached EUR458,6 million in October 2025, recording an increase of 12,4 percent as compared to the corresponding month of 2024 (EUR407,9 million).

A meeting of Costas Koumis, deputy minister of tourism, Cyprus, with the mayors of Ayia Napa and Paralimni-Dheryne, Christos Zannetou and George Nikolettos, took place January 05, at the Giorgos Seferis Cultural Centre in Ayia Napa.
