Cyprus Revenue from Tourism for January Showing Increase

Based on the results of the Passengers Survey carried out by the Statistical Service, Cyprus revenue from tourism reached EUR74,6 million this January, recording an increase of 7,8 percent compared to the corresponding month of in 2025 (EUR69,2 million).

The average expenditure per person was EUR613,26 this January compared to EUR617,65 in January 2025, recording a decrease of 0,7 percent.

Tourists from Poland (the largest tourist market with 18,6 percent of the total tourists in January of this year) spent on average EUR72,81 per day, while tourists from Israel (the second largest market during the specific month with 18,1 percent of the total tourists) spent on average EUR157,31.

Tourists from the UK (the third largest market with 15,8 percent) spent on average EUR70,99 per day.
