After the completion of the works in a section of Ermou Street, and in the streets of Vassileos Evagorou, Cordington, Armenian Church, Mavroidi, Kleanthi Kalogera, Eski Tsiarsi and the first part of Agiou Lazarou Street - works were recently completed between the square and the square of the Mosque.

The renovation of the square between the Medieval Castle and the Mosque has a special flooring with geometric shapes of combined shades of different materials, such as limestone rocks, sandstone, pebbles and visible concrete which have significantly improved the image of the area.

The completion of the renovation of the square includes new living areas, tree basins and flower beds, with new urban equipment and in combination with the completion of the project with the new lighting of the Medieval Castle promoted by the Department of Antiquities, will significantly upgrade the square.

The last part of the first phase of the project ‘Reconstruction of streets and facilitation of the disabled in the center of Larnaca’ will be completed soon, since at this stage works are being carried out in the second part on Agiou Lazarou Street.
