During a recent meeting between Larnaka Tourism Board and representatives from Pervolia Community Council, it was reported that a number of development projects will be completed by the end of this year in a bid to attract more tourists.

Aiming to upgrade the region’s infrastructure, the initiatives include the improvement of the coastal, pedestrian, and cycling areas as well as the completion of an outdoor performance platform in August at the recently completed Pervolia Community Theatre, that will enrich Larnaca’s cultural scene by accommodating large-scale performances.

Local authorities confirmed that important improvements have also been made in many tourist areas including upgrade of services, construction of additional changing rooms public toilets and parking areas at local beaches.
