The arrivals of travellers to Cyprus in June reached 661,970 compared to 642,030 in June 2018, recording an increase of 3,1 percent. The increase is mainly attributed to the return of residents of Cyprus (19,5 percent).
On the basis of the results of the Cyprus passengers survey, arrivals of tourists reached 434,578 in May compared to 450,495 in May 2018, recording a decrease of 3,5 percent.
The Passengers Survey, the Statistical Service of Cyprus announced on December 17 that tourist arrivals reached 158,685, a 9,7 percent increase from the 144,676 arrivals in 2017.
On the basis of the results of the Passengers Survey, arrivals of tourists reached 433,617 in October this year compared to 406,870 in October 2017, recording an increase of 6,6 percent.
On the basis of the results of the Passengers Survey, arrivals of tourists in Cyprus reached 520,138 in September this year compared to 483,716 in September 2017, recording an increase of 7,5 percent. This September had the highest volume of tourist arrivals ever recorded in Cyprus during the specific month.
Cyprus Tourism Organisation (CTO) is celebrating a record-breaking year for tourism with global visitors up 14.6 percent in 2017 compared to 2016.
A Passengers Survey revealed that the arrivals of tourists reached 144.676 in November 2017 compared to 124.192 in November 2016, recording an increase of 16,5 percent and also marking the highest volume of tourist arrivals in Cyprus during the specific month.
