Cyprus is setting its sights on a digitally transformed future, as Costas Koumis, deputy Miniter of tourism for the republic, and Dimitris Skouridis, chief scientist, met on Wednesday, August 12, to align the nation’s tourism framework with artificial intelligence.

The Larnaka Tourism Board expressed its great satisfaction over the achievement of a long-standing and strategically important objective, aimed at substantially strengthening the presence of the Larnaca Region in the UK tourism market.

Larnaka Tourism Board’s recently held their Assembly and Tourism Symposium which took place on  June 05, bringing together leading representatives of the main institutional and professional bodies of the region’s wider tourism industry.

Larnaka Tourism Board (LTB) has won one Platinum and four Gold awards at the prestigious ‘Cyprus Tourism Awards’, held on June 04 of  this year, reaffirming the board’s ongoing commitment to sustainable, innovative, and high-quality tourism development in Larnaka region.

The European project MAAS (Match, Attain and Sustain), in which the Larnaka Tourism Board participated as a partner from Cyprus, has successfully concluded, providing practical tools to address workforce shortages in the tourism and hospitality sector.

Larnaka Tourism Board was pleased to host the 5th Transnational Partner Meeting of the MAAS project, welcoming the partners to our city on October 30 & 31 of this year.
