The Cyprus Tourism Organisation (CTO), participated in the 20th annual International Golf Travel Market (IGTM) in Cannes, hailed to be the most important golf tourism exhibition in the world.

To honour their support and regular visits to Ayia Napa, a couple from Sweden and a Norwegian individual were rewarded with the title of ambassadors in a ceremony organised by the Municipality of Ayia Napa.

An award ceremony will take place on November 13 at Filoxenia Conference Center in the honour of the students who were distinguished in the framework of a tourism fair competition launched by the Association Of Cyprus Tourist Enterprises (ACTE), Ministry of Education and Culture and Cyprus Tourism Organization.

Representatives from Paphos2017 recently visited Valetta in order to attend the annual European Capital of Cultures’ meeting.

In a bid to celebrate 11 years of presence in Cyprus’ tourism sector, Cyprus Sustainable Tourism Initiative (CSTI) organised its 11th Annual General Meeting on October 20, at Pallia Ilektriki in Paphos, under the theme Sustainable Tourism for the Present and the Future.

Keeping in line with this year’s World Tourism Day which is celebrated on September 27, Cyprus Tourism Organization (CTO) puts sustainable development as its priority goal for the upcoming years.
