Cyprus Airways has recently presented its ambitious growth plans for the coming five years to stakeholders during a press conference entitled ‘Cyprus Airways – The Past & the Future’, which was held on December 14.  

Cyprus Airways has added over 6000 additional seats to Athens, Paris and Yerevan to boost its capacity over the festive period.

Cyprus Airways has unveiled an updated livery for its two new Airbus A320 aircraft as part of its re-positioning and new strategic plan launched earlier this year. Two additional new Airbus A320 aircraft are expected to join the fleet early in 2023 and will also carry this new livery.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, an annual international health campaign organised by major breast cancer charities every October around the world. The aim of these campaigns is to increase awareness of the disease and to raise funds for research into its causes.

Cyprus Airways recently announced its traffic results for September of this year. During this month, the airline operated a total of 267 flights (September 2021 – 148 flights) and carried a total of 34,868 passengers (September 2021 – 9,570 passengers), registering a healthy Seat Load Factor (SLF) of 79 percent (September 2021 – 50 percent). A further 108 flights were operated on an ACMI lease on behalf of an operator.

Cyprus Airways recently announced its ambitious plans for summer 2023 during which it said that it will operate to 11 confirmed destinations with a schedule of at least 43 weekly flights, new destinations, and flights to be announced soon. The Summer 2023 schedule will start on March 26.

Cyprus Airways will start operating its winter flight schedule on October 30 with a planned 28 return direct weekly scheduled services to four key airports. Athens will be served with a double daily flight, whilst Tel-Aviv and Beirut will be served with six weekly services.
