Cyprus Casinos ‘C2’, the first and only authorised casinos in the Republic of Cyprus, reopened and welcome back guests on June 13 to a safe and pleasant environment, closely adhering to all the relevant guidelines issued by the Minister of Health.

The Cyprus Hotel Association (PASYXE) welcomed the new measures to support the economy and employment, which were announced in the context on May 27 sermon of Nikos Anastasiadis, president, Republic of Cyprus.

Following a meeting under the President of the Republic, STEK (Cyprus Tourism Business Association) recently sent a letter to the competent ministers of the government, with its suggestions on the reopening of the hotel industry and at the same time the resumption of tourism in the country.

The Cyprus Sustainable Tourism Initiative (CSTI) conveyed a message that during these difficult times, their thoughts are with all the people in the tourism industry who are affected the most as a result of the under-tourism that we are experiencing at the moment and probably the coming months.

As announced by the Deputy Ministry of Tourism in early 2019, its aim is to develop a new brand name to promote Cyprus's tourism product.

In a simple ceremony held at the Presidential Palace on, January 22, the Savvas Perdios, deputy minister of tourism, Cyprus presented the National Tourism Strategy 2030 to foreign ambassadors in Cyprus, to high-ranking officials of key tourism players and other Cypriot tourists.
